Creating a more sustainable world - one project at a time

Maple Hill Architects designed a 4,500 square foot, luxury, net-zero energy home that meets all requirements to achieve LEED for Homes Gold.  It is super-insulated and furnished with the highest efficiency air to air heat pumps & energy recovery ventilation mechanical systems in order to reduce energy use by approximately 70%.  A roof-top photovoltaic system will create the remainder of the energy needed for a fossil-fuel-free net-zero energy home.

This home, though net-zero-energy and using modern technologies and materials integrated throughout, is designed to look like a traditional New England home with painted trim and cedar shingles.
